The story of La Cantinetta del Chianti
It was the spring of 2000 when I had the pleasure of discovering the wonderful territory of Chianti Classico for the first time.
Having left Basilicata for a job interview at an agriturismo, as I approached Tuscany I became increasingly aware of how unique that landscape was: gentle hills, extraordinary vineyards and a harmony that was hard to forget.
Arriving in Gaiole in Chianti, I had the clear feeling of having arrived somewhere special, almost a "paradise".
I worked for three years at an agriturismo as restaurant manager. Then, driven by a passion for wine and the pleasure of tasting Tuscan "nectar", I decided to change direction.
In 2003 I took over La Cantinetta del Chianti, beginning a journey of passion, research and love for this territory that I continue to pursue every day.
